Ordering Data from the ASDC

The ASDC has several tools and methods available for ordering and downloading data from its archives.

HTML Tool -

Search and order data by project, parameter, data set, geographic region and time range. Ordering requires login, searching does not. No subsetting.

CALIPSO Search and Subset Tool -

Search and subset CALIPSO Level 1 and select Level 2 Lidar data.

Customization Options
  • Search and subset by date, time, and geolocation
  • Subset by parameter and geolocation, including ESDRI-defined regions.
  • Output formats: HDF and NetCDF.

MISR Order and Customization Tool - Order and customize MISR data.

Features

  • multiple consecutive and non-consecutive path and orbit searches
  • sort search results by date, path, orbit, camera, and file version

Customization Options

  • subset by parameter, block, and spatial coordinates
  • additional latitude and longitude layers, and unpacking and unscaling applicable fields
  • output data in HDF-EOS stacked-block grid or conventional grid format.

CERES Browse, Search and Subset Tool -

Subset, visually browse, and download CERES Level 3 and select Level 2 data products
  • Output in multiple file formats
